Money in the Jar.

Every hour a new $100 bill goes in. The longer it goes, the bigger the payout.

75/25Winner / 2nd Split

At the top of every hour — including the 1st — we place a $100 bill in a clear container for all runners to see. This continues every hour as a new yard begins. The last runner to complete a yard and the 2nd to last runner split the accumulated prize money — 75% to the winner, 25% to the runner-up. There is no limit to how large the prize can grow.

100 Mile Finishers

  • Custom engraved belt buckle — awarded to every runner who completes 24 laps (100 miles)

All Runners Receive

  • A badass DNF Medal — custom engraved with how many laps/miles completed (winner gets a special one)
  • T-shirt (note: if registered after September 1st, shirts are limited to qty and size remaining)
  • Sticker Kit
  • Cowbell
  • Other badassery we come up with on a whim
  • All runners MUST be in the starting corral at the start of each lap (yard)
  • Each yard starts precisely on the hour, 1 hour after the last — warnings given at 3, 2, and 1 minute before the bell
  • Runners must be inside the starting corral at the bell
  • All runners must start at the bell — absolutely NO late starts
  • Except for restrooms, competitors may not leave the course until the loop is completed
  • No non-competitors on the course (this includes eliminated runners)
  • No crewing or outside aid during a yard
  • Each yard must be completed within an hour to be counted — including the final loop
  • No artificial aids (including trekking poles, etc.)
  • Slower runners must allow passes
  • Runners are responsible for their personal aid and nutrition needs
  • Water and a limited supply of prepackaged food items will be available at start/finish throughout the race
  • The winner is the last person to complete a yard
  • All other runners are classified as DNF — there is no second place
  • If no runner can complete one more loop than anyone else, there is no winner
